Stamford, CT, June 2, 2008 – Stamford-based XLerant, Inc. was recently awarded a contract to install their software budgeting tool, BudgetPak, at the Baptist General Convention of Texas, located in Dallas. The BGCT is a non profit organization which connects 5,600 churches across Texas.
"We evaluated a lot of planning software and from an input perspective, they all looked like common spreadsheet applications, except for BudgetPak," noted Jill Larsen, CFO of the BGCT.
"BudgetPak is clearly the most user-friendly we evaluated," she continued. BGCT managers will be using BudgetPak for their 2009 budget cycle, starting in June 2008. "With hundreds of accounts and projects, it's a robust implementation and we're excited to get it done in a very short timeframe," noted Serven.
