Jim Perakis
Jim Perakis serves as Chairman. Jim Perakis is the former Chairman and CEO of Hyperion Software, a pioneer in enterprise financial management and planning software, overseeing growth from startup through IPO to sales of over $300 million. Oracle Corporation acquired Hyperion in 2009. Previously, he was CFO of Interactive Data Corporation, and vice president for corporate budgeting at Chase Manhattan Corporation. In addition, Jim serves on the boards of Black Diamond Reporting Systems, Sparta Systems, and Zadspace, and is an advisor to several other technology firms.
Ted Dacko
Ted Dacko serves as CEO. Ted has been CEO of four other software firms. Most recently, Ted was CEO of HealthMedia which he grew from zero to $40M before selling the company to Johnson & Johnson. Ted has extensive experience in budgeting as he has held senior positions with Hyperion, Orion Micro Systems, Comshare, Corporate Class Software, FAME Software and Interactive Data Corporation, all of which offered budgeting and planning software. Ted has an M.S. in Mathematics from The College of William and Mary and a B.S in Mathematics from Waynesburg University. Favorite Quote: "Never confuse motion with progress."
Charles Pevsner
Charles Pevsner is co-founder and has been CTO since inception. Charles has over 20 years of experience in computer systems development and software consulting, with a concentration on shaping business models and strategies to develop breakthrough solutions. Previously he was president and founder of Datatrope Systems, which designed and developed applications for multinational financial consolidation and planning, international money transfer, market information systems, and NYSE floor programs. He has also led software tools development at a medical software systems company, was a member of Prodigy's Advanced Technology group, and has served as acting chief technology officer for several startup companies. He has a B.A. and an M.S. in Computer Science from Cornell University.
Joanne Brunn, Ph.D.
Joanne Brunn, Ph.D. serves as Vice President of Client Services. As a senior level manager in the financial services and software industries, she worked with Hyperion Solutions in the early years of that company, as well as Citicorp, Chemical Bank, and Logica. Joanne consulted for many years focusing on systemic organizational change, tactical technology initiatives and enterprise innovation programs for Pitney Bowes, Verizon, LEGO Direct, and Penguin Publishing. She enjoys being an adjunct professor in both Mercy College's Organizational Leadership Graduate program and Saybrook University's Organizational Systems program. Joanne has a B.B.A. in Computer Science from Hofstra University, a M.B.A. in Finance from New York University's Stern School of Business, and a Ph.D. in Human Sciences from Saybrook University with a concentration in Creativity Studies. Sal Arena
Sal Arena serves as Vice President of Sales. Sal has over 20 years of Sales and Sales Management experience in the financial software industry. Prior to XLerant Sal worked for Hyperion, OutlookSoft and Business Objects delivering financial planning, budgeting and consolidation solutions to the North American market.
